3nd Annual Montgomery County Parks Half-Marathon
– A
GREAT Sunday morning destination!
Upbeat, family-friendly, and inspiring! Festive post-race party in downtown Bethesda! Starting in the morning about 8:00 AM or so!
The
Digits! will be playing until about 11 AM. Come down to cheer on the finishers and hear
some great upbeat rock ’n’ roll. We’ll
be playing on the Big Stage near the finish line at the corner of Woodmont
Ave. & Elm. See
map.
Runners
will emerge after 13 miles from the Air Rights Center tunnel and turn a hard
right on Bethesda Avenue, then Woodmont Avenue at mile 13.1 on their way to the
finish line in downtown Bethesda. This is the best spot from which to watch the
race, and there are several local businesses from which you can buy coffee,
bagels, donuts, etc.

Details: OPEN TO ALL. We are asking
for a $5 donation from all attending fans. The Silent Auction will be
available for viewing and bidding from 7:30 to 10:30. 100% of the attendance donations and
Silent Auction proceeds go to WWP.
The
Digits! are
donating the entertainment, Woodley
Gardens is proving the beautiful pool setting, Hard Times Café and Carmen’s
Italian Ice will have items for sale with 20% of proceeds going to
WWP.
Bring
friends and family, your cooler and extra chairs!
This is a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere around the pool. Enjoy some good music, sing along, dance with
neighbors, and watch friends sing with The Digits! - knowing you are helping a worthy cause – WWP.

– The Digits! played for A
Neighborhood Street Party sponsored by Hard Times Café & Carmen’s
Italian Ice. About 400 people
attended this event. A portion of the parking
lot was roped off for the expected large crowd; fans brought lawn chairs and
blankets. This was VERY kid-friendly and
The
Digits! were so pleased to see our youngest fans. Many thanks to Hard Times and Carmen’s for
hosting this fun event for the neighbors.

The show at the Austin Grill totally rocked! The
Digits! played 34 songs and featured 7 guest singers. A large throng
of fans packed the house. Thank you all for the support. The fans make
the effort worthwhile for us. And thank you for your generosity in
raising awareness of and funds for Richard Montgomery’s PTSA and Boosters
Club. Together we were able to donate approximately $300.
